Dr. Iqbal Fana was born as Iqbal Din on September 6, 1958, in Lachi Bala, Tehsil Lachi, District Kohat, in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He is the son of Munawar Din.
He received his medical education at Kabul Medical College, where he earned an MD degree. This degree was recognized as equivalent to MBBS in Pakistan, and he was subsequently issued a professional license by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
Political Career
Dr. Iqbal Fana entered politics through Jamaat-e-Islami and was elected as a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PF-39 (Kohat) in the 2008 general elections.
During his tenure in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, he raised several significant issues.
